No distance is too far to save a child.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. I'll be taking on 26.2 miles on October 13th to support the kids of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
Since 1887, Mercy Home has provided children and families with healing and tools to build brighter futures. It gives children who’ve experienced abuse, neglect, or violence a safe home, educational support, and career guidance.
Because Mercy Home is nearly 100% privately funded, the support of people like you and me is critical to their mission. Thanks to your generous gift, these kids will receive hope and healing in a loving environment.
I am taking on this challenge to ensure Mercy Home will continue to have the resources it needs to provide the best care possible. Our Mercy Home Heroes truly believe no distance is too far to save a child.
Mercy Home has saved thousands of young lives
Since 1887, Mercy Home has saved thousands of young lives from environments marked by neglect, abuse, and despair. With our help, Mercy Home is able to give our kids the chance to not just survive but thrive. Mercy Home provides guidance for healing and growth, support to catch up in school, and the tools to build a successful and self-reliant future. Last year alone, Mercy Home served more than 1,040 youth and families through their residential, community care, mentoring, and referral programs.
And because Mercy Home is nearly 100% privately funded, the support of people just like you and me is critical to our mission. I am running to ensure Mercy Home will continue to have the resources it needs to give these kids hope for tomorrow. As Mercy Home Heroes, we believe no distance is too far to save a child.
